On May 5th, 6th and 7th, the Palace Theatre in Cape Charles will present the original play, The Clam-Digger’s Daughter. The play takes place on the Eastern Shore, in and around Cape Charles in the late 1940s.
The crew is looking to the community for relatively authentic items that it could use as set pieces and props. Currently, we are looking for:
-Vintage sofas and chairs
-Vintage clamming and oystering tools (rakes, baskets, etc.)
-Vintage office desk
If you have any items that you would like to donate or let the crew use, feel free to drop by the Palace on Saturdays between 9 and 12 or simply email capecharlesmirror@gmail.com.
The cast and crew of Clam-Digger’s Daughter appreciate the help.
