  1. CCM: Here is the full Biden-Stephanopoulos interview. This might be even worse than the debate since this was supposed to be his recovery interview. He fails to answer the basic questions, says nothing of substance.

“Joe Biden Doesn’t Understand the Post-Debate Reality”

    Story by David A. Graham

    6 July 2024

No interview could reverse the damage that Joe Biden did to his campaign in the first presidential debate, but his conversation with George Stephanopoulos tonight showed that the president doesn’t even understand how profound the damage is.

One of the interview’s most striking moments came when Stephanopoulos pressed Biden on whether he would submit to an independent neurological assessment.

    He refused.

“Look, I have a cognitive test every single day,” Biden said, pointing to the duties of the presidency.

If that’s true, he failed the test on June 27, and no interview, no matter how strong, can erase it.

The president didn’t dispute his poor performance in the debate.

    “It was a bad episode.”

“No indication of any serious condition,” Biden said, blaming his own preparation, a bad cold, exhaustion, Trump shouting at him despite his microphone being off, and Trump’s many lies.

“Axelrod post-interview: Biden ‘dangerously out of touch’ with voter concerns”

    Story by Julia Manchester

    6 July 2024

Democratic strategist David Axelrod warned that President Biden is “dangerously out of touch” with voters on the issue of his age and health following Biden’s highly anticipated sit-down interview on ABC News.

“The president is rightfully proud of his record.”

“But he is dangerously out-of-touch with the concerns people have about his capacities moving forward and his standing in this race,” Axelrod wrote in a post on the social platform X.

“Years ago at this time, he was 10 points ahead of Trump.”

“Today, he is six points behind.”

Axelrod’s comments came shortly after Biden’s full interview with ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos aired Friday evening.
