AP and NBC News went to the Biden campaign and the WH Comms team and begged them to give them anything to dispute these unedited clips and all they can say is “cheap fake” and that’ good enough for those reporters: “Disregard uncut footage of POTUS and refer instead to White House-approved videos featuring approx 6 jump cuts” is a helluva thing to hear from the newsrooms that dismissed the Planned Parenthood tapes outright as “selectively edited” and “manipulated” (neither claim was true).
This “cheap fake” stuff is so desperate that it makes me suspect Biden’s decline is getting worse, perhaps with alacrity. It feels more like getting ahead of something that’s coming.

He also makes clearer in the interview that he is referencing his bid for a U.S. Senate seat in 1972 – during the Vietnam War – not the presidency in 2024.
The full interview shows reporter Enrique Acevedo asking Biden, who is 81, if he often thinks about his legacy in light of the possibility that the 2024 race will be his final political campaign.
“I hope the legacy is that I kept my word, that I said the reason I was running was to help change the life of ordinary people, and reduce the prospect of war, and, because of Vietnam,” he said.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan admitted that the approval to attack Russian positions with American weapons is not limited to areas around the Kharkiv region.
When asked in an interview with PBS about the extent of the agreement with Ukrainians regarding the use of American weapons for attacks, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan replied that “it extends to all areas where Russian forces cross from the Russian side to the Ukrainian side to try to take more Ukrainian territory.”
Initially, the White House indicated that Ukraine could target mainly areas around the Kharkiv region, where Russian forces are conducting an offensive.

For a time, I was an infantryman who served as a Nighthawk in Viet Nam in 1969.
As a Nighthawk, I went out each night on a helicopter armed with an M-14 rifle with a Starlight scope mounted on it so that I could see in the dark with the helicopter as my firing platform.
One night we were ordered to go to these certain grid coordinates and when we got to there, it was a small “ville” that was being barraged with CS-gas mortar rounds to drive the people out of their houses and into the open where they were clearly illuminated by parachute flares.
I can see them down there to this day.
Women and children.
I can still hear the “voice” coming into my head over the helicopter’s radio from the Battalion Operations Center back in the big base camp that was in “control” of what the mission was going to be that night.
“KILL THEM ALL!”
That was “THE MISSION,” to gun down each and every one of those people, an order that was given to a machine gunner next to me and myself – start firing, gun them down, kill them all.
