A 2nd attempt by Democrats to assassinate former President Trump has failed. Here is what we know so far: Kamala Harris has said that “democracy is on the line” in her race against President Trump. The gunman agreed and used the same phrase. He had a Biden-Harris bumper sticker on his truck. He was obsessed with Ukraine’s “fight for democracy” and absorbed many unhinged views about the Russia-Ukraine war. His name is Ryan Routh, and he donated 19 times to Democratic Party causes and zero to Republican ones.
For years, Kamala Harris’ campaign surrogates have said things like “Trump has to be eliminated.” And how have their media allies responded to the second assassination attempt against Donald Trump in as many months?
NBC News called the attempted assassination a “golf club incident.” The Los Angeles Times told us “Trump Targeted at Golf Club.” USA Today’s top-of-the-fold headline on Monday was “Hope in America,” and the paper published a letter to the editor arguing that Trump “brings these assassination attempts on himself.” CNN’s lead hack Dana Bash said Monday that Harris’s campaign rhetoric didn’t motivate Routh even though he echoed that rhetoric explicitly.
As we have seen after the George Floyd riots, Democrats love violence, and the media seem to relish it.
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.” – Abraham Lincoln
The Harris-Walz ticket is on pace to do fewer interviews and press conferences than any major party’s presidential pairing in modern U.S. history, Axios’ Alex Thompson and Torey Van Oot write.
Vice President Harris’ team is betting she and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, can avoid many tough interviews and still win as they run down the clock to Election Day.
That strategy comes even as many voters say they want to learn more about Harris — and as her campaign has said she’s changed many of her past liberal positions to more centrist policies.
The previously press-friendly Walz has joined Harris in largely dodging the media while campaigning before friendly, enthusiastic crowds.
By the numbers: Harris has been a candidate for 59 days and Walz for 44 days, because of President Biden’s sudden withdrawal as the Democratic nominee on July 21.
During those 59 days, Republicans Donald Trump and JD Vance have conducted more than 70 interviews and press conferences with TV and print reporters. Harris and Walz have taken part in seven, according to an Axios analysis. (We excluded appearances with partisan-leaning commentators.) Vance has done 7x more interviews and press conferences than Harris and Walz combined.
Harris’ campaign believes limiting interactions with the press is the right strategy — even if it frustrates reporters, some close to the campaign told Axios.
Some of Harris’ worst moments as vice president came during interviews when she made flip or unclear comments about key policies.
NEW: Kamala Harris is asked about Secret Service protection after Trump was nearly assass*nated, responds by saying “Ohio”, “Project 2025” and “LGBTQ.” Remarkable. Reporter: “Do you have full confidence in the Secret Service?” Harris: “I do… but I mean, you can go back to Ohio. Not everybody has Secret Service and there are far too many people in our country right now who are not feeling safe.” “I mean, I look at Project 2025 and I look at, you know, like the, don’t say gay laws coming outta Florida. Members of the L-G-B-T-Q community don’t feel safe right now.” “Immigrants or people with an immigrant background don’t feel safe right now. Women don’t feel safe right now. And so, yes, I feel safe.”
2007 clip of Kamala Harris threatening to storm the homes of law-abiding Americans for surprise gun inspections resurfaced this week, renewing concerns about what version of the vice president is now seeking her boss’ job as well as about the fate of Second and Fourth Amendment rights should Harris get what she wants.
The footage was taken at a San Francisco press conference where then-Mayor Gavin Newsom and then-San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris discussed anti-gun legislation on which they had collaborated.
Harris suggested that the possibility that “some kid” might steal a legally acquired firearm justified the government in violating law-abiding owners’ privacy and in running roughshod over their rights.
“We’re going to require responsible behaviors among everybody in the community,” said Harris. “Just because you legally possess a gun in the sanctity of your locked home doesn’t mean that we’re not going to walk into that home and check to see if you’re being responsible and safe in the way you conduct your affairs.”
Liberal Tyrants never stop:

CCM: CNN’s lead hack Dana Bash said Monday that Harris’s campaign rhetoric didn’t motivate Routh even though he echoed that rhetoric explicitly.
ME: So, WOW, people, in addition to all her other skills and qualifications to be on CNN, which all start with the fact that in her head is nothing but the purest of pure air, it i8s so comforting to0 know that Dana Bash is also a MIND-READER who can speak to us authoritatively as a real expert on what was going through the mind of a presidential assassin at the moment he was apprehended.
Makes us wonder if she will be a star witness for the defense in that matter.
On another note with respect to CORONATED Democrat presidential contender Kamala Harris, on October 29, 2018, at a time when Kamala was a United States senator from left-leaning California, while speaking at Spelman College’s Homecoming weekend, Kamala Harris uttered these words which should scare the hell out of everybody not only in the United States of America, but in the world, as well, to wit:
So that was the range of our conversation, which really is I think just an example of the range of conversations that we each have with each other.
It might be about the color of our lipstick, and it also might be about what we need to do in terms of Artificial Intelligence and how we plan the future of the world.
end quotes
Focus on the words “how we plan the future of the world,” and then ask yourself where does Kamala Harris get any authority from to plan the future of the world?
If the main-stream and legacy media were doing their jobs, or if Dama Bash the AIR-HEAD was doing her job, she and they would be confronting Kamala about that statement about planning the future of the world, and how she intends to do that if she is elected president.
And for the record, according to Section 3 of Article II of OUR Constitution states in clear and unambiguous language as follows with respect to what the true job of an American president really is, and it has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with planning the future of the world, to wit:
He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.
end quote
SHALL TAKE CARE THAT THE LAWS (our laws) BE FAITHFULLY EXECUTED!
CAN KAMALA HARRIS WHO BELIEVES SHE IS APPOINTED OR ANNOINTED BY GOD TO PLAN THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD BE TRUSTED TO DO THAT – TAKE CARE THAT THE LAWS (our laws) BE FAITHFULLY EXECUTED?
In a word, NO, she can’t!
And as to how our allies look at this evolving Kamala Harris situation, let’s go to Australia and Sky News on that very subject:

You could probably fill a book with quotes falsely attributed to Lincoln and this is probably yet another.
Editor’s Note: Quoted properly. Lincoln may have been paraphrasing, “Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding” – Proverbs 17:28

I always wondered and lamented that this community newspaper seldom sparked active, robust engagement. Today I figured it out:
“ A 2nd attempt by Democrats to assassinate former President Trump has failed.”
There’s no arguing w someone or some entity willing to make this assertion.
Editor’s Note: Agreed. Leftists or Progressives may be more accurate. We published 29 stories this week so not every word is going to be perfect. You should try it sometime. You do some to be more hung up on semantics than the physical reality of a 2nd assassination attempt.
Paul Plante says
Susan, not to pop the bubble of some delusion you are sustaining or harboring here with your statement that you always wondered and lamented that this community newspaper seldom sparked active, robust engagement, but it doesn’t red right.
You are obviously making an effort to say something, but the something you are trying to say is coming across quite muddled, which is to say, your meaning is not at all clear when you say you always wondered and lamented that this community newspaper seldom sparked active, robust engagement.
The phrase “lamented that this community newspaper seldom sparked” is clumsy, susan!
Do you mean that you would like to see more active, robust engagement?
If so, you certainly blew a chance to do so in here, where you say that there’s no arguing with someone or some entity willing to make the assertion that “A 2nd attempt by Democrats to assassinate former President Trump has failed.”
You’re wrong, susan!
Dead wrong!
You were free to argue that the Democrats had nothing to do with it.
IF there was merit to your argument, it would have been printed, and you would have prevailed, because the lo0gic of your argument would be so persuasive.
So how come you didn’t make it?
That’s what don’t make sense.
If you have evidence the Democrats were not involved, you should be a good community member and share it.
Stuart Bell says
If you are a Democrat, then you are part of the problem. Just embrace it.
Why are you looking to ‘argue w someone or some entity’ ??? Both cowards that tried to assassinate Trump were Democrats, it makes little difference if they were a progressive or regressive leftist.
Paul Plante says
susan, with respect to veracity (conformity to facts; accuracy) of that statement that “A 2nd attempt by Democrats to assassinate former President Trump has failed,” I would refer you to the following comments made by DEMOCRAT Joe Biden in a Washington Post story titled “Biden calls Trump ‘a toxic presence’ who is encouraging violence in America” by Matt Viser, Ashley Parker and Chelsea Janes on August 31, 2020, where we had Joe Biden on the record calling for political violence against Donald Trump, as if Trump were some sort of vermin to be eliminated, to wit:
“Donald Trump has been a toxic presence in our nation for four years,” Biden said.
“Will we rid ourselves of this toxin?”
“Or will we make it a permanent part of our nation’s character?”
end quotes
Do you or would you deny that Joe actually said those words encouraging some crackpot out there to assassinate Trump. which has almost happened twice now, that we are aware of, given we don’t know how many WHACK JOBS in total DEMOCRAT Joe Biden has encouraged to kill Trump?
And in my mind, anyway, susan, that takes us back in time to April 10, 1901, when Democrat William Randolph Hearst’s Journal attacked then-U.S. president McKinley in an editorial that ended with the following words:
“Institutions, like men, will last until they die; and if bad institutions and bad men can be got rid of only by killing, then the killing must be done,”
end quote
So, susan, thereafter. on August 31, 1901, a dude named Leon F Czolgosz traveled to Buffalo, New York, the site of the Pan-American Exposition, where President McKinley would be speaking, and he rented a room in Nowak’s Hotel at 1078 Broadway.
Then, on September 6, Czolgosz went to the exposition armed with a concealed .32-caliber Iver Johnson “Safety Automatic” revolver he had purchased four days earlier, and he approached McKinley, who had been standing in a receiving line inside the Temple of Music, greeting the public for ten minutes.
At 4:07 p.m., Czolgosz reached the front of the line and while McKinley extended his hand, Czolgosz slapped it aside and shot the President twice in the abdomen at point-blank range: the first bullet ricocheted off a coat button and lodged in McKinley’s jacket; the other seriously wounded him in the stomach.
McKinley’s stomach wound was not lethal, but he died eight days later on September 14, 1901, of an infection that had spread from the wound.
The scorn heaped upon Hearst was swift and overwhelming from Republican-affiliated newspapers, which blamed the publisher’s editorials for spurring the assassin to pull the trigger against the president.
That same swift and overwhelming scorn, susan, should be heaped upon American DICTATOR Joseph Robinette Biden, today, and the Democrats, and their MEDIA STOOGES by every single person in America.
Going back to September 19, 2018 for more DEMOCRAT incendiary rhetoric intended to incite some WHACK JOB out there to murder Trump, in a Daily Caller article titled “Gov Jerry Brown: ‘Something’s Got To Happen To’ Trump, People Must ‘Get Rid Of Him’” by Joshua Gill, we had that same sort of inflammatory political language from GOVERNOR MOONBEAM of California, another RABID DEMOCRAT, to wit:
Democratic California Gov. Jerry Brown called President Donald Trump a “saboteur” and claimed Trump would undermine America “if we don’t get rid of him.”
end quote
Now, how many ways, susan, would some crackpot out there in America, a land full of crackpots, take that kind of language – “if we don’t get rid of him?”
How is that inflammatory language any different from the language in the editorial in the April 10, 1901 edition of Wiliam Randolph Hearst’s Journal, himself a DEMOCRAT political hack like GOVERNOR MOONBEAM and Joe Biden, saying “Institutions, like men, will last until they die; and if bad institutions and bad men can be got rid of only by killing, then the killing must be done?”
And the simple answer is, it is no different at all – THE DEMOCRATS WANT TRUMP MURDERED, plain and simple!
