2018 ESVA Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day will be Saturday May 5th

April 29, 2018 by Wayne Creed Leave a Comment

2018 ESVA Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day will be Saturday May 5th with up to 50 pounds for free. Northampton residents can bring their waste to the Eastville Convenience Center (15552 Courthouse Road) in Eastville between the hours of 10 am to 2 pm, rain or shine. First come, first served. Waste beyond 50 pounds will cost $1.00 per additional pound. Household products containing toxic chemicals can be a threat to people and the environment if improperly discarded. Bring garden chemicals, poisons, repellants, fuel, fungicides, wood stain, preservative, paint remover, epoxy and asbestos. If no words indicate it is a hazardous product it likely isn’t and should be disposed of in your regular trash.

Note: This notice was submitted by Town Council Candidate Paul Grossman
