The porches of the bed & breakfasts and inns of Cape Charles will once again be rocking with artwork on Sunday, August 18thh from 1 pm to 6 pm for the 7th Annual Art Rocks the Inns. Each inn will feature local artists showcasing their works, from all different mediums – paint, sculpture, wood, jewelry, photography, food and other unique mediums.
This event is a walking tour as participants travel from inn to inn by foot, bike, golf cart or car. The 4 participating properties are all located in Cape Charles’ historic downtown district and within 3/4 mile of one another.
Attendees may begin at any of the four properties and receive a map to guide you to your next stop.
Admission for the event is free but as part of the 50 years of LOVE celebration, Cape Charles has added Virginia is for Learners to collect donations for teachers to fill their classrooms and help students with needed supplies. There will be drop off box at each of the Inns. Suggested items include : Pencils – #2, dry erase markers, colored pencils, colored markers, crayons, glue sticks, kleenex tissues, hand sanitizers, 3 subject notebooks and notebook paper.
