Beginning Bee Keeping Class March 9 & 16

Everything you need to know to get started with your own honey bees this year will be taught in this new class the weekends of Saturday, March 9 & Saturday, March 16, 2019

Classes are 8:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Historical Onancock School, 6 College Avenue, Onancock, VA

Registration fee is $30 and includes:

· Course registration

· Text book “Beekeeping Basics” (1 per family registered)

· Course materials

· Breakfast/light lunch

· A 3-month membership in the Eastern Shore VA Beekeeper’s Guild

This two-day course is just the beginning. Participants will meet many beekeepers from the Eastern Shore during the two-day course. We are a friendly group and have 9 meetings per year, an annual picnic and hands-on “open hive” experiences. Membership in the ESVA Beekeeper’s Guild is only $20 and new members are always welcome.
