Thanks to a $25k infrastructure grant from the Northampton County tourism department, public restrooms are now available on Mason Avenue.
The Town and Cape Charles Main Street worked closely with the county to finally get pedestrians some relief as the browse about town.
The latrine is located at the corner of Peach and Mason, diagonal from Deadrise Pies.

Looks like a old horse trailer to me
Doug Luther says
This is total BS! The reason the town council applied for the grant (or what they told us) was because they (town council) were afraid town employees would catch the Corona virus when they cleaned the public restrooms.
Now they say it’s for the tourists, when they browse the town shops! BS! who going to clean this horse trailer? The same people who cleans the other public restrooms. When this BS town council decide to opens the rest of the public toilets. This town is run by a bunch of rocks!
Good job, town council! You wasted another 20 to 25k.
