In April the Cape Charles Police Department made arrests for DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, refusal to obey a police officer, 2 driving on suspended licenses, a bomb/burn threat,
trespassing, assault, reckless driving in a parking lot, disorderly conduct, possession of schedule I or II
drugs, possession with intent to distribute (2nd offense), wanted subject, and finally a hit and run.
The CCPD answered 72 calls for service in Cape Charles and offered assistance to the County Sheriffs once.
In total, there were 4 felony arrests, 10 misdemeanors. 107 traffic tickets were issued, and 34 parking tickets.
The force logged 32 foot patrol hours and 12 hours on patrol in Bay Creek.
