Chocolate Sex Toy Left on Candidate Lankford’s Doorstep

October 13, 2019 by 9 Comments

At the October 9th CBES Candidate forum, Elizabeth Lankford addressed the audience with a bizarre detail. While she was campaigning over the weekend, she returned home to find a chocolate replica of the male anatomy wrapped in pink paper and left on her doorstep. A note was attached that read, “Eat a d*ck.”

Langford told the Mirror, “We are disappointed that in 2019 someone thought it was appropriate to send a lewd package to a candidate for public office. It’s time to encourage women to step up and run. As your next State Senator, I will work across the aisle and stand up for women across the commonwealth. It’s time to let politicians and bullies know that we don’t tolerate harassment like this anymore.”

“I was offended, I was appalled, but most of all I was disappointed that this was happening in 2019. We need to be supporting and encouraging women, especially young women to run for office….to whoever sent it, I want you to know you have not intimidated me, and you have not discouraged me…I am running to let women know we will not take harassment like this anymore. “-Elizabeth Lankford, her statement from the CBES forum.

Lankford handled the situation with bravery and grace. She showed the kind of intelligence, resolve and fortitude that we expect from our leaders in Richmond. That a Democrat supporter would do something like this should not come as a surprise to anyone (ask anyone that has the courage to wear a red MAGA hat in public these days).

The person that left the item on Lankford’s doorstep may have been trying to send a message, but the result may not be what they were looking for.

The message is maybe it’s time for a real change here on the Shore.

Find out more about Elizabeth Lankford’s platform on her website.

I met this intrepid woman when she knocked on my door, soliciting votes. The first time that’s EVER happened to me and I was impressed with her bearing.

We talked for a couple of minutes and I found out a lot about her. A died in the wool capitalist, opposed to “Medicare For All” and all the rest of the Left’s insane stances.

The cherry on top was the fact that she is a full blown supporter of the 2nd amendment.

The NEXT DAY I received a mailer from Mr. Lewis touting the fact that he is a 2nd amendment supporter too………………………….who believes that Red Flag Laws and stricter gun control laws are “common sense” things we can enact to curb gun violence. FWIW, the day a politician comes up with a plan to get the murderers to obey gun control laws is the day I’ll switch sides.

As an independent voter who has voted for him in past elections, if I combine his idiotic approach to this very important issue with one of his supporter’s actions as reported in the story…………….I done.

I’m convinced that the Democrat Party, as presently configured is Anti-American and none of them will get my independent vote until they come back from the edge of the socialist cliff.

It’s time for a fresh start in Virginia politics and Elizabeth is answer for the Eastern Shore.

Well, as an independent who owns a MAGA hat I’d like to say, is this is important ? We need to hear about this childish prank ? If the comment stated was the only one left with the “present ” for her, do we even know this is a political comment ? Why is anyone presuming it is ? Maybe someone wishes Ms. Barefoot was still running the co. because she ran the company better ? Maybe it’s from an angry ex employee ? Maybe it’s from a woman who wants to make it look like it’s from a man, a la The Smollett case ? Maybe it’s from a fellow republican who doesn’t like what she has to say ? Maybe it’s from a chocolate co. that Ms. Lankford refused to sell ? Need I go on ? My point is that we apparently don’t know who did this. It sounds like blame has instantly been placed on a man. A man who is a democrat supporter. Is that fair ?
So now we have too many men in politics because a prankster entered the scene. OR, do we have too many women in politics who overreact, lack perspective, and blow up pranks into world changing events?
Grandma taught me that blame is for God and little children. Perhaps Ms. Lankford is just a headline seeker, or she isn’t ready for politics.

I do not condone this offensive and sexist and cowardly behavior and I am angry and dismayed that such a reprehensible conduct is still occurring, however to accuse readily without any evidence that this is done by a Democrat supporter is equally reprehensible. It could have been done as well by a Republican supporter. What is certain is that Ms Langford was disrespected and abused, and everybody should be outraged and determined to not tolerate this situation ever!

It could have been sent by a jilted lover, an unhappy yard worker, a former unhappy employee (of which there are many, per word on the street) or a neighbor. Why assume it was politically motivated?

Note: Timing is everything. It didn’t happen until the race got tighter. It didn’t happen until she became a candidate. Thanks for forwarding the word on the street though, that makes everything that happened acceptable again.

In the Old America, the candidate would have laughed this off with a quip of “Free chocolate, who is against that?”

And then had reporters and cameras there as she………………cut off the first piece.

With relish, and a BIG butcher knife.

    Oh, the public relations loss……….

On the Eastern Shore that I remember, her male family members would take care of this. Period.
