Coastal Conservation Technician Position with Nature Conservancy

The Nature Conservancy is seeking applications for a spring/summer Coastal Conservation Technician to assist science and conservation staff with programs at the Virginia Coast Reserve. The 10-week, 35 hour/week position will begin in May/June 2019 and is based on a Wednesday through Sunday schedule. 

The technician will assist with public outreach about Virginia Coast Reserve barrier islands, stewardship of beach nesting birds on barrier islands, marine habitat restoration, education and outreach events and preserve management. 

Basic qualifications include high school diploma and experience working outdoors.
