Day 2020 Morning Hike Jan 1

December 22, 2019 by Leave a Comment

First Day 2020 Morning Hike January 1, at 9:00 am.

Bring in the New Year by taking a guided hike with us! Explore the outdoors and enjoy nature with friends and family at Kiptopeke State Park.

A park interpreter will guide you through our upland maritime forest, along Chesapeake Bay coastal dunes, and across open meadows of reclaimed farmland.

Along the way you will find a freshwater pond, wildlife viewing blinds and several bay overlooks from which you can observe deer, fox, turkey, and other wildlife that call Kiptopeke home.

The hike will start at Picnic Shelter #1 in the Day Use area. Admission to the park is free on this day.
