In 2002, Islamist militants slayed Danny Pearl in Karachi. His last words: “I am a Jew.” Last week, the Center for American-Islamic Realations ( CAIR) and Woman’s march organizer Linda Sarsour were at the Senate lobbying for Ilhan Omar, in defense of her anti-Semitic rhetoric.
Also there was Zainab Chaudary, CAIR outreach manager in Maryland. She is spearheading the effort to pass Boycott, Divest Sanction legislation in the Maryland state legislature
In this video, Zainab expresses solidarity with Ahed Timimi whose family in the West Bank celebrates the bombing murders at a Sbarro in Jerusalem, including a girl, 15 Malka Chana (Malki) Roth.
Nearly 16 years ago, Arnold Roth lost his daughter Malki in a suicide bombing at a Sbarro pizza shop in central Jerusalem. The female terrorist Ahed Timimi, who helped plan and carry out the attack is still free living in Jordan.
As the Democrats celebrate the ilk of Ilhan Omar and Linda Sarsour, daily life in Israel continues to be under attack. Just this week:
March 12– A firebomb was thrown at a police position on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem on Tuesday, prompting officers to make a number of arrests and shut down the holy site, which has seen soaring tensions in recent weeks over a long-sealed area.
March 12 – Israeli soldiers shot dead a Palestinian man as he tried to stab them in the West Bank city of Hebron on Tuesday, the military said.
March 13 – Unidentified gunmen opened fire at an Israeli vehicle in the northern West Bank Monday night.
There were no casualties in the attack near the settlement of Rehelim, south of Nablus, but damage was caused to the vehicle.
March 13 -The Israeli Police close the Temple Mount and remove all those in the area after a firebomb was thrown at a police post in the holy site.
A police officer sustained light injuries in the attack after inhaling smoke from the fire caused by the Molotov cocktail. The structure was also damaged, police say.
So it goes.

Many Palestinians and Muslims worldwide are very good people and are respectful of the wishes and lives of others. On the other hand, many Palestinians and Muslims have sworn that all Jews need to die.
In America we respect all peoples, all politics and all religions. When we don’t we aren’t acting as Americans. In my opinion, the comments that Rep. Omar has inflamed the news cycle with are racist , explosive, and anti Semitic.
Mental Health professionals tell us that when words are hurled at a target they are just as harmful as a physical attack.I believe her derisive comments are many times worse than any questionable comments our President has made. I believe our President is turned into a racist by the liberals and the press in this country so that their pure progressive political rhetoric can be used as a power and control weapon, while a true racist is protected and admired behind her pure beliefs, and it disgusts me. I believe that allowing her to shroud her racism with her Muslim religion is not progressive, or religious freedom. It is liberalism running amuck, with division as a driving force, and allowed to continue by a leaderless party.
I have always been a registered independent voter, but right now, with the political climate the way that it is, my conservatism certainly outweighs my progressive democrat side. I have evolved into a socially responsible independent republicrat.
Nancy Pelosi is a leader(?) totally devoid of true leadership qualities. She stands for nothing but power, influence, and votes in a country that considers none of those to be principles our leaders should strive to attain. She appears to me to be a spineless, attention grabber who doesn’t know what principles are. I just can’t understand the people in her district that continue to vote her in.

I just saw a bumper sticker that read:
‘You cannot be a Christian and vote Democrat’.
Sadly, it is just that simple.
Chas Cornweller says
The issue of the State of Israel is actually multi-faceted and stained with the terrorist beginnings that begat the nation in the first place. It was the Zionist movement that began the immigration (yes, that word) of hundreds of thousands of Jews back to the mid-Mediterranean region that was once called Palestine. Since the time of the Roman Empire and the destruction of the temple of Solomon and the dispersion of the Jewish people, Zionist have been emphatic about returning to that area. An area ironically called their homeland, but historically wrestled from the Canaanite people thousands of years before, by twelve tribes wandering a desert. So, basically spoils of war, only to be taken and dispersed not once but thrice from the area. It was the British and the French, in their infinite wisdom (sarcasm) that divided the area, not only placing boundaries around nomadic tribes (brilliant!), but also forcing certain tribes to live within the same nations, many of whom had warred with each other for centuries. The floodgates opened after the Nazi defeat and the near annihilation of the Jewish people in Western and Eastern Europe and Russia. Millions poured into Palestine and many of the more zealot ones (Zionist) now had a motive and a purpose to turn the area into a Jewish state. By use of terrorism (bombing of the King David Hotel which housed the British administration for Palestinians-to use just one example), the United Nation’s hand was eventually forced to create a state from which the nation of Israel evolved. I am giving a brief and direct instance in which Zionism and terrorism (which is clearly denounced today by all civilized nations) played a large part in the creation and sanctioning of this nation. The conflict continues to this day. And most Americans cannot and do not understand the implications to the depths that the divide the post-war planning and subsequent warfare created. Both sides were and are still at fault. But, Britain, France and United States are also culpable in the creation and continuance of this conflict. An entire group of people lost their lands, their sovereignty and their basic human rights to another invader. We forget that. Know the history, learn the facts. Without it, you don’t know what you are talking about. That is what Ilhan Omar is trying to get across. The suffering is not one sided.

Chas Cornweller says
So, the party that is tearing down the structures of a national health care system for all (poor, infirmed, pre-conditioned and elderly) is the “Christian” party? The party that mocks infirmity and calls for violence against those that speak up against tyranny is the “Christian” party? The party that places wealth before all else and condemns a system that supports and even helps those who have no means to help themselves to become better citizens and better human beings, but instead, insists on a system that not only is rigged against the poor, but feeds off of the misery and backs of those who work the hardest. All profit gains go to those for who the game is slanted and who do very little for those profits except to have already gamed the system in their favor. Then pass that criteria down to their heirs. Royalty is admired, while the poor are mocked. The same party that creates an aura of crisis where there is none and where there is crisis, turn their backs. These are the “Christian” principals for which this party stands? Show me one principal I have mentioned where I am wrong.
Lastly, I am not sure which Christ certain Christians are following, but I am not seeing the Beatitudes in their walk at all. When you want to dismantle the very system that helps the poor and the downtrodden and want to aid and build a war machine to do god-knows-what to others with impenitence, continue the demented policies of separating little children from their mothers and fathers because they cross a border (legally or illegally – does it matter?) and continue to incarcerate victimless criminals so that quotas can be filled along with prisons, the profits reaped and the dividends paid to stockholders …then, I hope you do face Jesus. I pray you are placed before him. And when you are asked the question…when you did all these things, to whom did you do it to? I pray you have a good answer. You’ll need it.
Darrell Rodgers says
Liberals know they’re better than other people. Just ask them if you want, but they’ll likely tell you anyways. Liberals are much smarter than other people. In fact, they know that other people can and must be avoided. The opinions of other people not only don’t matter, they’re actually evil and dangerous. The motives of the others are always bad and based in ignorance. That brings up something else liberals know. They know that they are good, and everybody who isn’t liberal is evil. The others are so evil they can never be trusted. They cannot be trusted to run their own lives. They must never be cooperated with. They can never be allowed to be part of the government, for the common good. Liberals are club-members. They are a club made up of the best, the brightest, the most successful. They are superior. They should be listened to with rapt attention. They should be running things. Others are inferior. Just ask them. Liberals are the best. Others are useless and should be crushed.
There used to be a group of people just like this in a nation known as Germany. They believed themselves to be superior to everybody else. They actually felt they were so superior that they were actually a different race. They believed as the best and brightest and most moral people, they were destined to rule. That was what was demanded for the common good. They were the best possible people. Others were obviously useless and were crushed.

Darrell, ummm, yeah … no. They were not liberals. However, we’ll give you a point for even thinking that you could link the two.
Mike Kuzma, Jr. says
Darrell never said they were liberals, read his second paragraph again. He states the clear links between the two groups thought patterns regarding their supposed superiority.
The word liberal NEVER appears in the second paragraph.
No points for you for reading comprehension.

The lack of self awareness is STUNNING –

“And so, I hope you do face Jesus. I pray you are placed before him. And when you are asked the question…when you did all these things, to whom did you do it to? I pray you have a good answer. You’ll need it”…………..far more than any of us.

So, Ray, since you are so enlightened, please point out to me my lack of self-awareness. Because I am getting the strong sense that one of us is completely missing the point.

#1. Conservatives donate to charity in far greater numbes than does the ‘liberal, progressive Democrats”, and none of us on the Right are looking to end CHARITIES, tis Government we do not trust to do it. But you knew that.
#2. Invoking that name proves you have nefarious intent for America.

“those who are no longer our countrymen” shorthand for the following:
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget ye were our countrymen.”
Samuel Adams
Chas Cornweller says
Mike, I think if you were to pull your head out of those Jersey pine sands, you would clearly see that the nefarious intent comes from on high and not from lowly tax payer citizens like me.
The polarization of American people and the dis-information, fed daily, has had a far more nefarious intent on the psyche of this great nation than you may realize. The bleating of daily whines from the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Tucker Carlson to the shrill cries of Laura Ingram and Jeanine Pirro and the simple like-minded have done far more damage to Living in Truth to gain access to Power of Intention. Take for example: The Global Climatic changes taking effect as I type this short, succinct note to admonish you. For decades, scientists (and politicians) have been aware of the tremendous effects it would have on communities and inevitable insurance costs, not only in this nation, but worldwide. But, due to influences tied to oil and other moneyed interests, our mealy mouth politicians have refused to even acknowledge these processes much less prepare for it. So, now, insurance rates are exorbitant, entire towns/communities lay in ashes and farmers are drowning either in water and debt or strangling in drought or debt. Choose either. Just one example of nefarious intent on the moneyed interests and their hands in our nation’s politicians’ pockets. And you think the second largest religion in the world is a threat? Just wait till Mother Nature gets her full fury up…you ain’t seen nothing yet. Nefarious intent? You blind fools and your den of vipers are the ones that are tearing this country apart. The costs are higher than you realize. And you sir, with your Those Who Are No Longer Our Countrymen (which country would you be referring to? The fascist one or the Constitutional one as set forth by our Fore Fathers?) Because if you are a MAGA hat wearing sycophant, then I want no part of your intolerant, race-baiting, selfish, egotistical, material grabbing, non-Christian, warmongering, Empire building, lying and stealing country. But, and understand me clearly, sir…I would stand and fight to the death for freedom and equality and tolerance of ALL people that come here and live here and work to preserve those freedoms. No matter what the costs, no matter what the outcome. I would rather die free, fighting for these causes, then live in chains, being told what was best for me and continuedly fed a stream of B.S. and lies while the powerful continue to harm us, leech us blind and feed our children to the War Machine. Capiche?

Pick one, would ya? Just pick one that you can use to destroy America, or just ‘fundamentally change it”.
“But, and understand me clearly, sir…I would stand and fight to the death for freedom and equality and tolerance of ALL people that come here and live here and work to preserve those freedoms.”
Then you better buy a mirror, pal cuz it is YOU and your ilk that brought fascism to our shores.
Or do you NOT recognize YOUR fascism in telling me I am not allowed to disagree with your interpretation of global COOLING…errr…global warming.
Cognitive dissonance, thy name is liberal.
Paul Plante says
Of course I do, Chas Cornweller, and so very eloquently stated, I must say.
And yes, Chas Cornweller, history does back you up with respect to the mess the meddling British and French made of Palestine after WWI:
The Commission (1937) proposed that Palestine be divided into two independent countries, one Jewish, one Arab.
The report was a counsel of despair.
The two new states would be too small to be self-sufficient units, for the total area of even the undivided Palestine was only approximately that of Wales or Vermont.
The proposed Jewish state, the smaller in area but with the best land, contained some 300,000 Arabs who would have to be uprooted somehow and placed elsewhere.
The Arab state suggested would be larger and was promised access to the sea; but that was small comfort to Arab nationalists, who pointed to the original promises made to them by the British high commissioner to Egypt as early as 1915, when they plotted in connivance with him to revolt against Turkey.
The report of the Commission glossed over these promises and did not even mention certain British guarantees to prominent Arabs in 1918, assuring them that their political and economic rights would be safeguarded in the new Palestine.
The Arabs now rose in arms and the British found it necessary to dispatch several thousand troops to Palestine.
Concentration camps were established, Arabs were deported, sporadic attacks on Jews sternly punished.
The partition commission, sent out in 1938 to draw up the boundaries of the two new states (for Britain still clung to the new proposal), gave up its task as hopeless, and a conference of Zionists and Arabs in London in 1939 accomplished just nothing at all.
In view of the fast approach of world war in that year, it seemed best to the British to postpone further action, but in the meantime to close all immigration to the land of Canaan for the time being to many thousand Jews who clamored for entrance.

Paul Plante says
And what about the two-state solution for Palestine, Chas Cornweller?
How long is it that we in this country have been hearing about that now?
Let’s take a look, shall we?
It was all the way back in 1948 when I was two years old that then U.S. President Harry S. “The buck stops here” Truman endorsed the creation of an Israeli state.
Then, we fast forward, as we can do so easily in here thanks to Al Gore who invented the internet for us, to March 16, 1977, seven (7) years after I got to here from Viet Nam, when U.S. President Jimmy Carter, at a town hall meeting in Massachusetts, told us that after Palestinians recognize Israel’s right to exist, “There has to be a homeland provided for the Palestinian refugees who have suffered for many, many years.”
Then, like a flat stone being skipped across the waters of time, we jump ahead five (5) more years to Sept. 1, 1982, when U.S. President Ronald Reagan informed us that, “The United States will not support the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza, and we will not support annexation or permanent control by Israel.”
“… Self-government by the Palestinians of the West Bank and Gaza in association with Jordan offers the best chance for a durable, just, and lasting peace.”
Okay, Ronald, whatever you say, dude, since you are the president and what you say must be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God.
Then we come forward nine (9) more years to Oct. 30, 1991, and this time it is George H.W. “Big” Bush who is telling us mere mortals and common people in this country that, “Throughout the Middle East, we seek a stable and enduring settlement.”
“We’ve not defined what this means; indeed, I make these points with no map showing where the final borders are to be drawn.”
“Nevertheless, we believe territorial compromise is essential for peace.”
And then we jump ahead again, ten (10) more years this time, to Jan. 7, 2001, when Hillary’s wayward husband Bill “Bubba” Clinton, was telling us. “There can be no genuine resolution to the conflict without a sovereign, viable Palestinian state that accommodates Israelis’ security requirements and the demographic realities.”
And then coming forward again, in June 24, 2002, we have George W. “Small” Bush outlining a new Middle East peace plan, and telling us, “It is untenable for Israeli citizens to live in terror.”
“It is untenable for Palestinians to live in squalor and occupation.”
“… My vision is two states, living side by side in peace and security.”
And seven (7) years after that, June 4, 2009, we have Barack Hussein Obama, in Cairo, Egypt, telling the world, which gets lied to as much as we do, that, “The only resolution is for the aspirations of both sides to be met through two states, where Israelis and Palestinians each live in peace and security.”
“… Israelis must acknowledge that just as Israel’s right to exist cannot be denied, neither can Palestine’s.”
“The United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements.”
And then two (2) years after that, on May 19, 2011, this very same Barack Hussein Obama, who incidentally has a Nobel Peace Prize, said, “The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states.”
“The Palestinian people must have the right to govern themselves, and reach their potential, in a sovereign and contiguous state.”

So how about all of that for a long-term presidential rhetoric spew, people – pretty impressive, isn’t it?
Ray Otton says
“I would stand and fight to the death for freedom and equality and tolerance of ALL people that come here and live here and work to preserve those freedoms.”
How about the ones who are born here? That is, if they make it out of the womb.
Sorry bub, as long as you support a party that advocates for full term abortions all your bleating falls of deaf ears.
As for listing the “bad guys” like Limbaugh, you forgot to mention ANY left wing commentators, so again, deaf ears.
Jack Trump says
“Nero fiddled while Rome burned” may be an oversimplification of one point in history, but I have a feeling it is a lesson Donald Trump learned in military school. I think he’s a lot brighter than many people think, and I believe he’s learned how to use people’s distractions and prejudices against them for his own benefit, and what he believes will be the benefit of America.
For example, I look at the thread of dialogue in this issue of The Mirror. We begin opining the original subject matter, and I think the whole conversation is led down the rabbit hole of prejudice and insult slinging. Sounds like D.C, no ?
As I like to jokingly say, I could be wrong for the first time in my life, but I doubt it. I think we are watching Donald Trump swing the traditionally democratic Jewish vote in America, over to his side. Not only the Jewish vote, but the liberal and independent voters that have friends that are Jewish, and have been voting democrat before. I think that “friends” block, is a large one.
I don’t know how anyone could look at the public debate between Omar and Trump, and think what Omar is saying is a better attitude for America. It appears to be, that what she is being accused of, and democratic leaders have not chastised her for, is terribly disrespectful and damaging to Israeli-American relations. I think she’s a fool to believe that what she is saying is a positive thing and will lead us anywhere good. Her dem leaders are protecting her.
Many Muslims in America have loudly disagreed with her anti-Israeli comments.
I see Trump winning this political battle while many Americans quibble and squander their good life.
Just how many Jewish, and their supporters, votes do the democrats have to squander ?
I see many Latinos, who have immigrated legally, oppose the non-emergency/invasion at the border.
The Green Deal is being thrown at us. To many, a $30 TRILLION annual questionable expense. Just what our unbalanced budget needs ?
While many democrats appear, to me, to be on a rudderless course, and they raise question after question, makes baseless accusations, and investigate investigations, ” is Trump watching the swamp burn?”
