Friday January 31st, the Eastern Shore Community College Foundation presents an Eastern Shore Oyster Roast, featuring local oysters, clams, clam chowder, barbecue & sides, local beers, soda, wine, and more. Tickets are $60 each.
Proceeds from this event fund ESCC Foundation’s scholarships and support efforts for local students.
The event starts at 5 pm at the ESCC Workforce Development Center Great Hall on campus at 29300 Lankford Highway in Melfa. Guided tours of our new Academic Building are available from 4:00-6:00 pm with shuttles offered from the event to the new building.
Live music will feature acclaimed blues-rock artists, Anthony Rosano and the Conqueroos. The popular group just completed multiple dates opening for Bob Seger and Silver Bullet Band on their farewell tour and was hand-selected by Seger himself for venues ranging from Virginia Beach to Memphis, Toronto, and Madison Square Garden. Rosano’s mix of modern blues and soulful rock has placed his recent album on the top of the Billboard and iTunes Blues Charts. His showmanship and amazing guitar skills are proven crowd-pleasers.
Tickets are available online at Eventbrite and at the College during business hours (on sale 12/6/19). Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Get the details here.
ESCC thanks you for your support of the Foundation and its work, and we hope you can join us for this Eastern Shore style celebration that will launch a momentous year for the College in 2020.
