EXMORE, VA – The Greater Exmore Business Association is hosting an informal Holiday Open House, Saturday December 10, from 10:00 am until 5 p.m. at shops and boutiques throughout downtown Exmore.
Capture the spirit of the season with complimentary refreshments, select discounts and specials offered at Seaside Consignments, Clocks N Stuff, Munchkins Boutique, the Exmore Flea Market, Habitat for Humanity Restore, the Exmore Antiques Emporium and other businesses located along Main Street, and on Bank Avenue.
“We want to create an ongoing tradition of showing our appreciation of our customers during the holidays and throughout the year,” says Mandi Mears, a chairperson of the Greater Exmore Business Association. “Shoppers can find almost everything needed for gift-giving, decorating and party-going right here in Exmore–from bangles for the tree to glassware and fancy gowns.”
The Open House event will be followed by the annual Exmore Christmas Parade sponsored by the Exmore Community Fire Department. Festive, colorfully decorated floats will roll down Main Street beginning at 6:00 p.m. Prizes, giveaways and Santa too. Everyone is invited.
Exmore’s three national hotel chains are participating also, with traditional lights and decorations plus special rates. Guests at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn and Suites and Quality Inn and Suites can sip complimentary hot cocoa or apple cider beneath the glow of the Christmas tree while enjoying discounts on their room stay.
Exmore, the largest Town in Northampton County, has more than 156 businesses and services serving all the Eastern Shore.
