First Day in the Bay Polar Bear Swim New Years Day

At 11 a.m. on New Years Day, ring in the new year with the  First Day in the Bay annual Polar Bear Swim!

Take the plunge at Cape Charles Beach (Madison Avenue at the beach.)

Register at https://firstdayinthebay.com.

The fun starts here at 11:00. Enjoy some hot cocoa and adult beverage bar, vendors, costume contest, and more! 

At 12 Noon: The Plunge, for those brave enough to venture into the Chesapeake Bay will be lined up to race into the frigid waters.

All ages welcome! 

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. – The Warm-Up Party. All are welcome to join the after-party and share war stories at the Shanty! Drink specials, a full bar, and a kitchen will be open.

    Registration for the Plunge. Have been trying to register 1 adult and 1 child, but site is not allowing. It shows for after-party.

    Note: I would just show up and go from there.
