Last month, Mr. Stuart Olivor filed a FOIA request with the Town of Eastville, which denied the request. Oliver has filed a complaint with the FOIA Council in Richmond.
However, the Northampton County Sheriff’s department, the Town of Cape Charles, and the Town of Exmore have all fully complied with FOIA requests on firearms. The Town of Eastville is the only one that refused the information.
The FOIA did gather some information that should be pertinent to the taxpaying public. Here is what was gleaned from the FOIA requests:

Stewart, I have attached what I am able to find at this point. The numbers of weapons are current, however, I am not able to provide the total cost associated with the purchase of our shotguns as some were purchased over 20 years ago. Our last purchase was on 6/19/20213 and was for 3 shotguns. The total was $1,377 or $459.00 each.

Exmore sure does love rifles…Silly cops. I see they filled the rails with expensive sights. How far away are the planning of shooting folks?

Maybe the rifles are for the Deputy Dogs, not Exmore rap video stars (they let their car and an duty cop be part of a gangster rap video some years back).
