The following FOIA requests have been submitted to the Town of Cape Charles.
A request was received for communications between Historic District Review Board members Edward Wells and Herb Thom relating to a property in Cape Charles for the period from February 21, 2021 through April 21, 2021. Communications include all emails, texts, and other written documents. The information was requested from Messrs. Wells and Thom, and the response was sent to the requestor on April 29.
PDF copies of purchase invoices for dog/pet waste bags and products and antibacterial wipes and sanitizers purchased by Parks and Recreation, Public Works, Operations, Building & Code Enforcement, Police, Public Utilities, and Harbor were requested. The finance department is researching, however, an extension letter was sent moving the deadline for response to May 12.
Another request was received for copies of the Cape Charles Main Street budget requests from 2018 to 2021, annual reports for fiscal years 2019 and 2020, and annual financial statements for fiscal years 2019 and 2020.
