Spend a weekend holiday shopping at unique boutiques, sipping hot coco while strolling streets covered in twinkling lights, caroling along with local chorales, visiting working artists’ studios in a self-lead tour, taking a horse-drawn carriage ride through a historic town, touring festive private homes, and that’s just the beginning.
Experience the Artisans Guild Holiday Tour, a self-guided working studio and wine tasting tour for the ultimate Black Friday and Saturday experience. Held from 10am-5pm on November 29th and 30th, cruise down winding back roads to discover hidden working artisan and artist studios. Find unique gifts for the family and a little something for yourself. Pick up a brochure at any participating location, collect stamps, and be entered to win $50 or $300 in shopping credits.
Have an old-timey Christmas weekend at Cape Charles. Every Friday between Thanksgiving and Christmas from 5-8pm, historic Cape Charles will be filled with holiday cheer, spilling into the whole weekend. Tour five private homes at the Onancock Christmas Homes Tour on December 14th. Listen to holiday music and classic hymns at the Music Festival at Historic Cokesbury Church with beautiful acoustics, talented artists and fantastic choral groups.
