An investigation by the BBC has found over 2,000 migrant children are being detained in a camp in the Texan desert. Evidence shows that the camp is ridden with disease, overcrowded, and has a shortage of clean clothes and medical care for the children.
The footage filmed in secret by Fort Bliss employees showed overcrowded tents where children are subjected to inhumane conditions. The camp is plagued with lice infestations and disease, including COVID-19, flu, strep throat, and foodborne illnesses from undercooked food. There are also reports of molestation and rape. Many children are placed on a “suicide watch list” and “monitored for self-harm, escape attempts and panic attacks,” according to the report.
The camp at Fort Bliss in El Paso consists of at least 12 tents – some of which hold hundreds of teenage children.
Staff working there say that illnesses such as Covid, flu, strep throat, and lice have affected hundreds of children since it was set up in March.
The Department of Health and Human Services, which employs private contractors to help run the camp, did not respond to specific allegations but says in a public statement that it is “providing required standards of care for children such as clean and comfortable sleeping quarters, meals, toiletries, laundry, educational and recreational activities, and access to medical services.”

This is heartbreaking. How can this be allowed in our country? Why don’t we see this published by the lame stream media? Children should never be subjected to this no matter where they come from.
This abuse of children needs to be out there for all people to see. Why can’t we stop this?

The Town Council should immediately petition the Biden Administration to get their fair share of undocumented aliens instead of sending them all over the country. Bay Creek could be required to build housing for them and the Cape Charles Food Bank could feed these poor souls. I am sure the good people of Cape Charles would be more than willing to provide for their education through the Christian School. Just think, Cape Charles businesses would have no more labor shortage with plenty of workers to do the jobs that the lazy shore children are unwilling to do. Sometimes the solution to the problem is right in front of your face.
