The proposed zoning changes around the harbor that are part of the sale of some property from Southport to Coastal Precast (Concrete Plant) has sent some in town into full-blown meltdown mode. First, I would like to compliment the author of this missive. It is well thought out and is written with unusually clarity. Next, I would like to express my sympathy to the author and anyone who is involved with this process. It is quit easy to forget how sensitive people are below a certain age. Perhaps you forgot the concept of trigger words, understandable. From what I read and heard about this issue, a number of people have grabbed their blanket and are still in their crying closet. It now is the burden of the city to provide well trained, counselors to provide support as this issue continues through its legitimate process.
