Pet of the Week: Meet Angel

December 27, 2020 by Wayne Creed Leave a Comment

Angel is this week’s Pet of the Week at the Eastern Shore Regional Animal Control Facility in Melfa, Va. A 3 year-old pittie-mix, she’s a beautiful white with the cutest spots on the skin under her hair.

She’s heartworm-negative and current on heartworm treatment and started on vaccines. (This is not Snow, the other white pittie at the facility that has applications on her.)

To adopt Angel, call/text Cpl. Sue Burdge at 757.710.5364 or call the facility at 757.787.7091 to fill out an application.

Angel is very friendly and full of energy. She’s good around other dogs. She should be fine for older kids and cats, though she’s a bit too energetic to be around very young kids.

She’d be a good match for an active owner.

Angel was rescued by a local man from a Shore backyard where she’d been living in a pen with no shelter. She lived in her rescuer’s house for a while, but his other dog didn’t like her.

She needs a new home now. What a great way to start the New Year: Adopting a loving, beautiful, loyal young friend like Angel!

To adopt Angel, call/text Cpl. Sue Burdge at 757.710.5364 or call the facility at 757.787.7091 to fill out an application.
