Pet of the week: Meet Maisy

August 18, 2019 by Wayne Creed Leave a Comment

This beautiful young pup is ready to meet her very own person, won’t that be you? You can visit with Maisy at the Eastern Shore SPCA form 10am-2:30pm. For your safety, tennis shoes are to be worn in the kennel area. No sandals, high heels, crocs, etc.

About Maisy
Hi, I’m Maisy and I’m a lab mix spayed female. I’m only about 1 year old and a nice medium size, weighing only 45 lbs. I’m fairly shy at first meeting new people and will probably need a few visits before I’m comfortable with my new family. I’m not a good fit for children at this time because I can be nervous, but I love dogs and will have to have a dog companion in my new family.

I am not quite as shy when I have another dog around. I just got here and will begin learning leash walking and getting to know other people, and hopefully lose some of my shyness soon. I am already spayed and up to date on most vaccines. I tested negative for heartworms and am on preventions.
