Every career begins with a job, and on Wednesday April 5th, Eastern Shore Community College will help provide that next step with the Accomack-Northampton Regional Job Fair from 9am-1pm at the Workforce Development Center in Melfa. Presented in partnership with the Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Northampton County and Chincoteague Chambers, and the Virginia Employment Commission, this fair offers the unique opportunity to meet top Eastern Shore employers in the same location. There will be more than 40 employers participating from all over Delmarva and Hampton Roads, promoting a number of job opportunities.
Some of the participating exhibitors at the Job Fair will include E.S. Community Services Board, New Ravenna, East Coast Migrant Head Start, Heritage Hall, Sysco, Eastern Shore Rural Health Systems, Inc., State Farm Insurance Company, Eastern Shore Family YMCA, Eastern Shore Association of Realtors, Tyson Foods, Camp Occohannock on the Bay, Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, Royal Farms, Surface Combat Systems Center, Accomack County Department of Safety, Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel, Pirate Ship Adventures of Chincoteague, Avon, Perdue Farms, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Cherrystone Family Camping Resort, NeuBeam, Walmart, Star Transit, T-Solutions, Baster Enterprises, Bayshore, Lower Shore Family YMCA, Anchorage Healthcare, Virginia Department of Transportation, and many more to be announced.
Free job search workshops will be held at the April 5th event at 9:00am and 10:00am. The event and the workshops are totally free and job seekers are
