Reminder: Dog Beach Rules are in effect

May 22, 2022 by 6 Comments

Despite what the calendar says, summer is here and dogs are not permitted on the beach between 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM from May 1 through Labor Day.

Dogs are not permitted to be on the fishing pier from May 1 through Labor Day.

The town urges everyone to scoop their dog’s poop. That can be an unpleasant surprise for anyone. There are a number of doggie waste stations along the boardwalk which contain bags to scoop the poop.

The fine for not picking up after your dog is up to $250 per incident.

Dogs must remain on a leash or other physical restraint or have an electronic collar at all times in the Town of Cape Charles.

Note: Dogs are also not allowed on the fishing pier at any time.

One 70lb dog urinates 135 gallons a year. How are you dog worshipers going to pick that up?

You are not real bright are you? A few bricks shy of a load?

        The word is Urinate.

One 70lb dog Urinates 135 gallons per year. That is a lot of odor.

That is a lot of Dog Worship. Drive thru suburban America and see how just many people are spending time with their dogs compared to their kids.
