Scholarships Available to Virginia Students in Natural Resource Conservation and Environmental Studies

February 5, 2017 by Wayne Creed Leave a Comment

Virginia residents enrolled in or having applied to a college curriculum related to natural resource conservation and/or environmental sciences may apply for scholarship funding from state sources. The Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts (VASWCD) will award four (4) $1,000 scholarships to Virginians who are full-time students enrolled or who have applied to a college undergraduate level curriculum.

Guidelines and application materials may be obtained from the Eastern Shore Soil and Water Conservation District office in Accomac by calling 757-787-0918, ext. 101 or emailing Latonya.justice@esswcd.org . Completed applications must be returned to Eastern Shore Soil and Water Conservation District by March 1, 2017.

All programs and services of the Eastern Shore Soil and Water Conservation District and the Natural Resources Conservation Service are offered on a non-discriminatory basis, without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, marital status or handicap.
