FAIRFAX, VA – Sean Perryman’s campaign for Lt. Governor of Virginia announced a new slate of endorsements from elected officials and progressive activists on Tuesday.
These endorsements include:
Dalia Palchik, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors – Providence District
Kathy Smith, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors – Sully District
Ara Bagdasarian, Town of Leesburg Council member
Tom Barbour, Progressive Candidate for Richmond Commonwealth’s Attorney
Erica Kelly, Virginia Youth Organizer
Sarah Burke, Community Activist
“I’m excited to endorse Sean Perryman for Lt. Governor,” said Supervisor Palchik. “Sean’s always put a focus on providing quality education for all, and I’ve watched as he fought against the school-to-prison pipeline in Fairfax County with meaningful policy changes. He’s the candidate I trust to be a valuable partner in Richmond to local governments that care about equity, progress, and accountability. I can’t wait to vote for Sean in the June 8th primary.”
“Our campaign is picking up some serious momentum as we get closer to the final month of this election,” said Perryman. “Leaders in Fairfax County, the largest county in the Commonwealth, have coalesced around our movement for a government and economy that works for all Virginians. Our campaign has also earned more endorsements in the Hampton Roads region than any other in the race, showing that our message is breaking through not just in Northern Virginia, but throughout every corner of this Commonwealth.”
Palchik and Smith join a long list of Fairfax County endorsers for the Perryman campaign, including supervisors Walkinshaw, Foust, Lusk, and Alcorn, school board members Meren and Frisch, and Commonwealth’s Attorney Descano. Bagdasarian joins fellow Leesburg council member Cummings as well as Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Chair Randall.
Sean Perryman is President Emeritus of the Fairfax County Chapter of the NAACP, a technology public policy advocate, attorney, and former congressional investigator. If elected, he would become one of the youngest Lt. Governors in Virginia history.
