PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Facebook has suspended the official account for Virginia State Senator Amanda Chase, a Republican candidate for governor.
Chase, an outspoken supporter of President Trump, posted on her personal Facebook page Friday that her official account was suspended for 60 days.
It comes a day after Facebook announced it was suspending the president’s use of Facebook and Instagram “indefinitely,” at least until inauguration day.
“Facebook continues to restrict free speech,” Chase wrote on Facebook. “Because what I have to say does not fit their narrative my Senator Amanda Chase page has been silenced for 60 days. We no longer have free speech here in America.”

Wake up and smell the coffee, Virginia State Senator Amanda Chase, a Republican candidate for governor.
We HAVE NOT had free speech here in America pretty much since its beginnings as a nation.
Have you forgotten all those sedition trials back in the day of John Adams?

Watch out Wayne. The Democrats may target the Mirror next. They can’t handle free speech.

If Mark Zuckerturd created Facebook and nobody ever joined, would it really exist ? With all the negative drama and b.s. he’s created for the world, I simply don’t “get” the platform. I’ve never joined. Never will. I never had the desire to grab an exposed electric wire, so to speak. I know I haven’t missed a damn thing. Ms. Chase has the right to say just about anything she wants on her own website and Mark Zuckerturd does not have the key. In all frankness, I wish President Trump had never used social media simply because he has virtually the same platform available to him with his own site(s). Media would have promoted the ass out of his site(s) and so very many people would have been seeing his statements anyway. He never had to Tweet or Zuckerturd anybody. That is one mistake of empowerment of media people that he promoted.

God but isn’t democracy the greatest thing since somebody discovered that plain old white bread made great toast!
And this story reminds me of a recent story in Africa News entitled “Uganda: Police chief threatens to beat journalists for their own safety” by Jerry Fisayo-Bambi on 10/01/2021, where we had as follows:
Uganda’s Inspector General of Police, Martin Okoth Ochola, has refused to apologize for the violence of security forces against the media.
Ochola was speaking at a pre-election news conference with senior security officials, on Friday.
“I have no apology.”
“Actually, you are saying ‘is police apologizing for mishandling journalists?’”
“My answer is, I’m very sorry, excuse me, we shall not apologize.”
“But we shall continue to help you not to go where danger is,” the police chief told newsmen at the conference.
Campaigning ahead of the January 14 election in Uganda has been marked by brutal crackdowns on opposition rallies.
President Yoweri Museveni faces 10 other candidates including popstar-turned-lawmaker Bobi Wine.
“It is not that we are targeting you the media, no, we are trying to protect your lives, we are telling you it is danger there, for you, you are insisting you must go where there is danger.”
“Yes, we shall beat you for your own sake.”
“To help you understand to not go there.” the police chief stressed at the conference.

There’s a dude that Mark Zuckerberg would be quite sympatico with is my thought, and maybe they have already bonded for all we know.
