CAPE CHARLES, VA – In March 2021 the Town Council adopted a Community Strategic Plan that laid out a vision and basic goals for the town. Since that time, we’ve been working diligently on this plan, and it will soon be time for an annual update.
The Strategic Plan update process will begin in late January or early February and involve Town Hall style meetings and survey data.
The Community Strategic Plan Citizen Survey is being released to the public for completion and includes some recent topics that may be considered by the Town Council. The survey is available in hard copy and electronic versions and should only take a few minutes to complete. Hard copies will be mailed out with the December utility bills and are also available at the Town Hall and the Library.
The electronic version is available here or by clicking the QR Code below with your mobile device.
The link to the electronic version is also available on www.capecharles.org and the Town’s Facebook page (Municipal Corporation of Cape Charles).
We are asking all residents, property owners and business owners of the Town of Cape Charles to complete the survey. This is your opportunity to voice your preferences.
All responses are due back by January 13, 2023. After the survey closes, all responses will be
compiled into a report and reviewed by the Town Council and staff.
A public meeting will also be scheduled to review the responses with the public.
