Town approves template for subdivision hookups to Town Water and Sewer Systems

September 18, 2022 by 1 Comment

Planning and Zoning has approved a new Bay Creek subdivision Village L or Muirfield. The subdivision has reached the stage of completion–water and sewer lines and roads are complete.

Bay Creek has requested that the Town to accept the water and sewer components into the Town system. After working through the approval, Zoning Administrator Katy Nunez apparently found that there did not appear to be an established protocol and review process in place–this seems odd since several other Bay Creeks subdivisions have been approved over the last several years.

Town Council has authorized the Town Manager and the Planning and Zoning Department to leverage the documents used in the Muirfield subdivision as a template for all future subdivisions for acceptance of water and sewer utilities into the Town Water and Sewer Systems.
