Richmond – Gov. Northam announced earlier this week that Virginia would enter Phase Three of its reopening plan on July 1 after seeing several weeks of sustained downward movement of key health metrics, such as the percentage of COVID-19 tests that come back positive.
Northam called out a lack of organized federal response to the virus from President Donald Trump’s administration.
“America saw little to no leadership from Washington,” Northam said. “And states and governors like myself came to the realization that we would be on our own.” The response from Washington was Federalist, and the President gave the most arrogant governors just enough rope to hang themselves.
Northam essentially admits to accepting responsibility for the overreaction to a virus, and basically gutting the VA economy, especially the services sector over what at this point doesn’t even amount to a bad flu season.
Northam also did not mention when Coronavirus magically disappeared for a month while tens of thousands of people protested and rioted in the streets because “stay home, stay safe” didn’t fit the narrative of the moment.
Seventy per cent of Virginia’s coronavirus deaths occurred in long-term care facilities. That is a state and local responsibility whose failures need to be investigated closely.
It’s hard read a single one of the COVID “experts”, such as Dr. Karen Remley, who has been a key figure in Virginia’s coronavirus response efforts, that justified the lockdowns and then the protests and are now pivoting back without laughing at these absolute disingenuous hacks.
So it goes.

Looks like Governor blackface confused his leadership with that of our President. The sooner this “MISTAKE” is removed from office the better!
