The Eastern Shore of Virginia Habitat for Humanity would like to invite you to participate in the Annual “Freezin For A Reason.” The dip in the bay will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019, at the Cape Charles Beach.
Join Celebrity Dipper Richard Davis, Virginia Farm Manager of Lipman Family Farms, in raising needed funds for Eastern Shore Habitat for Humanity. The proceeds are used to help provide vital housing for those in need on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. We are grateful that our fundraising efforts have allowed us to build two houses a year. Eastern Shore Habitat hosts three major fundraisers a year and this event is integral for us to continue building two houses a year. The need for housing is in great demand. Annually we have over 150 applicants asking to be selected for houses, two applicants are chosen by our selection committee for Habitat houses each year.
There are several ways for you to be involved in the Annual “Freezin For A Reason.” First, you can participate as a team or as an individual in raising pledges to dip with fellow dippers. Alternatively, you can support our Celebrity Dippers if you choose not to brave the cold water but would like to contribute as a sponsor.
