Biden is dropping bombs on foreigners, probably children, after only 36 days in office… but hey… at least he isn’t sending mean tweets amirite lefties? Feels good to be back in the bombs for oil business. Ever notice how the gas prices go up when we are bombing for oil? Wouldn’t it just be cheaper to let us drill and frack in the US? Is it considered “green energy” to bomb brown kids? Has anyone informed Biden of what he did in Syria?
WASHINGTON — The Times reported Friday that the United States Thursday carried out airstrikes in eastern Syria against buildings belonging to what the Pentagon said were Iran-backed militias responsible for recent attacks against American and allied personnel in Iraq.
President Biden authorized the strikes in response to the rocketing in Iraq and to continuing threats to American and coalition personnel there, said John F. Kirby, the Pentagon press secretary, who spoke with reporters traveling with Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III in California.
American officials said the strikes were relatively small: seven 500-pound bombs dropped on a small cluster of buildings at an unofficial crossing at the Syria-Iraq border.
Kamala Harris was not informed prior to the Syrian bombing and is very upset about being left out of the loop, per WH official.
Note: These strikes are unconstitutional and dangerous. There’s no general authority for a president to launch airstrikes, and President Biden hasn’t claimed they were necessary to stop an imminent attack. Our Constitution demands he get approval from the representatives of the people. Right?
The current strikes also server to highlight, once again, the hypocrisy of the American political Left:
Paul Plante says
Joe Biden, a life-long political hack unable to cut it in the real world being devoid of intellect as he is, is the moron who got us involved in Iraq in the first place, which interestingly takes us to an article in The Progressive, entitled “The Other Reason Biden Shouldn’t Run – Biden used his leadership to get a Democratic-controlled Senate to give then-President Bush in 2002 the unprecedented authority to invade a country on the far side of the world that was no threat to the United States” by Stephen Zunes on April 2, 2019, where we were informed as follows:
Anyone wondering about former Vice-President Joe Biden’s fitness for the presidency ought to be concerned about the recent allegations of inappropriate touching.
But there is another issue that deserves consideration: his key role in making possible an inappropriate and utterly disastrous war.
As chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in 2002, Biden stated that Saddam Hussein had a sizable arsenal of chemical weapons as well as biological weapons, including anthrax, and that “he may have a strain” of smallpox, despite UN inspectors reporting that Iraq no longer appeared to have any weaponized chemical or biological agents.
And even though the International Atomic Energy Agency had reported as far back as 1997 that there was no evidence whatsoever that Iraq had any ongoing nuclear program, Biden insisted that Saddam was “seeking nuclear weapons.”
At the start of hearings before his committee on July 31, 2002, Biden stated, “One thing is clear: These weapons must be dislodged from Saddam, or Saddam must be dislodged from power.”
“If we wait for the danger from Saddam to become clear, it could be too late.”
In an Orwellian twist of language designed to justify the war resolution, Biden claimed in Senate session in October 2002, “I do not believe this is a rush to war.”
“I believe it is a march to peace and security.”
This gave President Bush the unprecedented authority to invade a country on the far side of the world that was no threat to the United States.
During the summer of 2002, as the Bush Administration was pushing for war, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, under Biden, had the opportunity to hear from any number of academics, former foreign service officials, United Nations personnel, and others specializing in Iraq.
Among the witnesses was former Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger, whom Biden insisted was credible despite multiple perjury indictments for lying before Congress and his history of grossly exaggerating the military capabilities of Nicaragua, Cuba, the Soviet Union, and other designated enemies of the United States.
Throughout the hearings, Biden insisted that Iraq was a threat to U.S. national security and that “regime change” was a legitimate U.S. policy.

And then we have a CBS News story from June 21, 2016 entitled “Biden: ‘Not a single, solitary recommendation’ in diplomats’ slam of Syria policy” where in an interview with “CBS This Morning” co-host Charlie Rose, goofy old Joe was quoted thusly:
The vice president said he doesn’t think the U.S. should use force unless it meets “certain basic criteria.”
“Is it in the national security interest of the United States?”
“Are our interests directly threatened?”
“Number one.”
“Or our allies, number two.”
“Can we use it efficaciously?”
“Will it work?”
“And number three, can it be sustained?” Biden said.
“Now, I can take you to any part of the world, and we put in 200,000, 300,000, or 150,000 troops, we can absolutely end the carnage, but we’re there.”
“Now, are we going to take them — my dad used to have an expression.”
“He’d say, ‘Joey, if everything’s equally important to you, nothing’s important to you.'”
“Tell me: What are our greatest concerns in terms of our existential existence?”
end quotes
Yeah, Joe, you’re the man now in charge with your Saddam-esque RING OF STEEL protecting you from the American people, so tell us – What are our greatest concerns in terms of our existential existence?
The candid world and the American people who aren’t Democrats or Biden KOOL-AID drinkers would like to know.
Sara says
Biden has no brains. A month in office and a war. War is money for the politicians. American people, he does not care. Military, he does not care. Biden is an ixiot
Paul Plante says
With respect to “Old Joe” being a real tough guy here, sending out a message with his 500-lb bombs of “NOBODY, BUT NOBODY ***** WITH JOE BIDEN AND GETS AWAY WITH IT,” that seems to be a real Democrat thing if we look at American history, especially LBJ trying to push around the Vietnamese as if they were Mexicans as we see from p.654 of “The Coldest Winter” by David Halberstam, as follows:
Sometimes too, as he (LBJ) came close to the final decision on whether to send combat troops to Vietnam, Johnson’s racism showed in the way he spoke of the Vietnamese as being like Mexicans, the kind of lesser people you had to show some strength to before they got the message and gave you the respect you deserved.
The Vietnamese, he would say, were not going to push Lyndon Johnson around, because he knew something about people like this, because back home he had dealt with people just like them, the Mexicans.
Now, Mexicans were alright if you let them know who was boss, but “if you didn’t watch they’ll come right into your yard and take it over if you let them.”
“And the next day they’ll be right there on your porch, barefoot and weighing one hundred and thirty pounds, and they’ll take that too.”
“But if you say to ’em right at the start, ‘Hold on, just wait a minute,’ they’ll know they were dealing with someone who’ll stand up.”
“And after that you can get along fine.”
end quotes
Now, there is the legacy of being a real tough guy as a Democrat that Joe Biden has to uphold by killing some people in Syria or Iraq to show he is made of the right stuff to be a Democrat, which takes us to an AP article by Charles Babington on 22 October 2011, where we had more Democrat “tough guy” BULL**** as follows:
Former Democratic strategist Rebecca Kirszner Katz distributed a similar remark on Twitter this week:
“Terrorists and dictators, lacking the filibuster, have no effective defense against Barack Obama.”
These Democrats hope Americans will see a bold and capable president who keeps his promises when Republicans don’t create roadblocks.
They note that he green-lighted a daring nighttime raid to kill bin Laden in Pakistan on May 1; approved policies that led to last month’s drone-missile killing of American-born terror advocate Anwar al-Awlaki in Yemen; backed allied actions that led to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi’s ouster and death; and ended U.S. involvement in Iraq on schedule.
end quotes
With the Democrats, it is all about how many people they have killed, and how many more they will kill, being very big on body count, as we VEET NAM veterans well recall.
As to Hussein being a real tough guy while “Old Joe” was Obama’s coat carrier, setting the example that Joe is trying to follow today, in an article by Ben Wolfgang in The Washington Times on September 28 2015, Hussein the tough-guy Democrat was quoted thusly:
“I lead the strongest military the world has ever known.”
“I will never hesitate to protect my country and our allies unilaterally and by force when necessary.”
end quotes
So, can Joe of “me and Barack” fame be seen as being less that Hussein in that regard?
And of course not, which is why Joe is dropping bombs.
And while we are on the example set for Joe Biden by Barack Obama, who can possibly forget a REUTERS article on Oct. 26 2009, where we had as follows:
President Barack Obama had a message for his political friends and foes on Monday — “just because I’m skinny doesn’t mean I’m not tough.”
Obama was in Miami raising $1.5 million for Democratic congressional candidates for the 2010 elections, in which Democrats are seeking to hold onto their strong majorities in the House of Representatives and the Senate.
end quotes
So there we have it – the legacy of Obama that Joe now has to carry forward as Obama’s successor on the world stage, so get ready for more bombing and more killing as Joe shows the world he is worthy of carrying forward the mantle of Democrat tough guy Barack Hussein Obama, the stringbean who looked like an absolute ass bowing to the Japanese emperor as if he were a defeated party coming to beg forgiveness..

It looks like the tough-guy warmonger Joe Biden hasn’t scared the militias in Iraq all that much:
CBS
“Iraq military base used by U.S. hit by rockets year after similar attack brought U.S. and Iran close to war”
Updated on: March 3, 2021
Baghdad — At least 10 rockets targeted a military base in western Iraq that hosts about 2,000 U.S. troops on Wednesday, American and Iraqi military officials said.
A U.S. defense official told CBS News national security correspondent David Martin there were no reported casualties among U.S. or coalition troops, but one American civilian contractor, who had taken cover in a bunker on the base, died of a heart attack during the rocket strike.
The rockets struck Ain al-Asad airbase in Anbar province at 7:20 a.m., according to Col. Wayne Marotto, a spokesman for the U.S.-led military coalition.
The Iraqi military released a statement later saying the attack did not cause significant losses and that security forces had found the launch pad used for the missiles.

Speaking as an infantryman from LBJ’s VEET NAM war, I would say that those sending in rockets to U.S. bases don’t really care if they do physical damage, because rocketing is a means of psychological warfare as much as anything, as anyone who has ever been rocketed will tell you.
So by rocketing that base, the Iraqis are essentially giving Joe Biden the upraised middle finger and are showing their contempt for him, just as Charley did for LBJ in VEET NAM.
As for rocketry, Mysorean rockets were an Indian military weapon, the first iron-cased rockets successfully deployed for military use and the Mysorean army, under Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan, used the rockets effectively against the British East India Company during the 1780s and 1790s.
As Wikipedia tells us, their conflicts with the company exposed the British to this technology, which was then used to advance European rocketry with the development of the Congreve rocket in 1805.
There was a regular rocket corps in the Mysore Army, beginning with about 1,200 men in Hyder Ali’s time.
During the Second Anglo-Mysore War, Colonel William Baillie’s ammunition stores are thought to have been detonated by a hit from one of Hyder Ali’s rockets at the Battle of Pollilur in 1780, which contributed to British defeat in the battle.
Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan deployed them against the larger British East India Company forces during the Anglo-Mysore Wars.
These missiles were fitted with swords and traveled hundreds of metres through the air before coming down with edges facing the enemy.
Tipu Sultan wrote a military manual called Fathul Mujahidin in which 200 rocket men were assigned to each Mysorean cushoon (brigade).
Mysore had 16 to 24 cushoons of infantry.
The rocket men were trained to launch their rockets at an angle calculated from the diameter of the cylinder and the distance to the target.
In addition, wheeled rocket launchers were used in war that were capable of launching five to ten rockets almost simultaneously.
Rockets could be of various sizes but usually consisted of a tube of soft hammered iron about 8 inches (20 cm) long and 1.5 to 3 in (3.8 to 7.6 cm) in diameter, closed at one end and strapped to a shaft of bamboo about 4 ft (1 m) long.
The iron tube acted as a combustion chamber and contained well-packed black powder propellant.
A rocket carrying about one pound (~500 gm) of powder could travel almost 1,000 yards (~900 m).
Two rocket units were fielded by Tipu Sultan in 1792 during the Third Anglo-Mysore War, one of 120 men and the other of 131 men.
Lt. Col. Knox was attacked by rockets near Srirangapatna on the night of 6 February 1792 while advancing towards the Kaveri River from the north.
The Rocket Corps ultimately reached a strength of about 5,000 in Tipu Sultan’s army.
Rockets were again used on several occasions during the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War.
One of these involved Colonel Arthur Wellesley, later famous as the First Duke of Wellington.
Wellesley was almost defeated by Tipu’s Diwan Purnaiah at the Battle of Sultanpet Tope.
Wellesley launched a fresh attack with a larger force the following day, and took the whole position without losing a single man.
Rocketeers worked their way around to the rear of the British encampment on 22 April 1799, 12 days before the main battle, and fired a large number of rockets at the same moment to signal the beginning of an assault by 6,000 Indian infantry and a corps of Frenchmen, all directed by Mir Golam Hussain and Mohomed Hulleen Mir Mirans.
The rockets had a range of about 1,000 yards.
Some burst in the air like shells, while others (called ground rockets) would rise again on striking the ground and bound along in a serpentine motion until their force was spent.
A young English officer named Bayly observed: “So pestered were we with the rocket boys that there was no moving without danger from the destructive missiles”.
He continued:
“The rockets and musketry from 20,000 of the enemy were incessant.”
“No hail could be thicker.”
“Every illumination of blue lights was accompanied by a shower of rockets, some of which entered the head of the column, passing through to the rear, causing death, wounds, and dreadful lacerations from the long bamboos of twenty or thirty feet, which are invariably attached to them.”

Yes, indeed, psycho;logical warfare at its best!
So how many more people in Iraq and Syria is Joe going to kill now in retaliation?
Stay tuned!
JBP says
There once was a man
in the Land of the Free
who wanted to rule
across land, over sea.
His first name was Joe,
his last name was Biden.
Ol’ Joe spent his time
in a dark basement, hidin’.
He never came out
except with a mask;
he’d run right back down
if questions were asked.
Uncle Joe, as they called him,
came up with a plan
to win an election
and govern the land.
He had to beat Donald,
the president, Trump,
who’d otherwise kick
Uncle Joe in the rump.
He said: “I’ll just tell them
that mean Mr. Trump
supports neo-Nazis.
They’ll think he’s a chump.”
So Uncle Joe summoned
the loyal Fake News
to cook up the lies
his campaign would use.
Though people believed them,
it wasn’t enough.
Uncle Joe realized
he’d need stronger stuff.
Just then, a pandemic
made everyone sick.
Here was Joe’s chance
for a new kind of trick.
Joe told the people
That voting was risky
(though they were just fine
buying ganja or whiskey).
“I demand vote-by-mail!”
he declared from his den,
“Or else we shall die!
(And Trump’s gonna win.)”
An army of lawyers
fought for the change
that Biden commanded
and courts did arrange.
Sure enough, in the voting
Trump did all right;
He looked to be winning
on E-lection Night.
But in came the mail!
And just as Trump feared
his lead in the vote
had soon disappeared.
Biden had done it!
He’d come from behind.
A scheme that poor Donald
would never unwind.
The moment that Trump
began asking questions,
they shut him right up!
Joe taught him a lesson.
Once in the White House,
Uncle Joe signed some orders.
He called some world leaders;
he opened the borders.
He canceled a pipeline
that Trump had allowed.
The workers were angry;
Joe’s donors were proud.
He gave out vaccines
And claimed all the credit.
The journ-O-lists ignored
a lie, when he said it.
But Joe’s hopes for power
ran into a bump:
so many people
still missed Donald Trump.
The old president
had cause to feel bitter:
they censored his Facebook;
they kicked him off Twitter.
But Trump was enjoying
his Florida home.
Inside Mar-a-Lago
he wasn’t alone.
His fans lined the streets
to see him drive by;
they cheered and waved flags
for their favorite guy.
Nothing could shake them,
despite “insurrection”;
and all “MAGA nation”
professed its affection.
So Uncle Joe plotted
to get back at Trump.
The new “cancel culture”
gave license to dump.
He called his advisers
and said, “I’ve no use
for fun-loving authors
like this ‘Dr. Seuss.’
“Cancel the stories
that people enjoy;
shun those who say
that a girl’s not a boy.
“Everything’s racist!
That’s what we’ll say.
Neanderthal Trumpsters
will soon go away.”
So the book-burning started
on bonfires piled high.
Joe followed his plan
to make Trump say goodbye.
But millions of people
whether white, brown, or black
had seen quite enough
and began to push back.
“Dr. Seuss is a legend!
We love Hop on Pop.
Uncle Joe’s lost his mind;
‘cancel culture’ must stop.”
Uncle Joe had imagined
he’d win, going woke.
But Trump is still laughing,
and Biden’s the joke.
Paul Plante says
Somebody who can drop some rockets into your enclosure at will is not a defeated enemy, Joe.
If you hadn’t ducked serving in VEET NAM with those of us who were not privileged as you and Bill Clinton and Charley “Chuck” Schumer, or senator’s sons, you would know that better than you do now.
And too bad for the troops that they have someone so pitifully ignorant as their commander-on-chief, even more so than that Democrat horse’s-ass Lyndon Baines Johnson who thought he could bomb a primitive people back into the stone age where they were already quite comfortable …
Borrowing a bit from Mark Knopfler:
Save my soul from evil, Lord, and heal this soldier’s heart!
I’ll trust in you to keep me, Lord, I’m done, with Democrats!
