CAPE CHARLES, Va. — Children on the Eastern Shore will have an opportunity to explore the outdoors and connect with nature during the upcoming “Adventures in Nature” summer day camp, set for June 25 and 26 at the Eastern Shore National Wildlife Refuge.
Hosted by the Eastern Shore Soil & Water Conservation District, Eastern Shore National Wildlife Refuge, and Northampton County 4-H, the camp is open to youth ages 9 to 13. Each day runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with activities focused on hands-on environmental education and outdoor fun.
Campers will take part in hiking, arts and crafts, drawing, games, science experiments, and more. The cost is $15 per child for the two-day event, and participants are required to bring a bagged lunch and wear closed-toe shoes.
Organizers emphasize that space is limited and advance registration is required. To register, parents should email 4-H Agent Erin Morgan at emorgan2@vt.edu. Once confirmation is received, payments must be submitted by June 13 either by mail to PO Box 457, Eastville, VA 23347 or in person at 16392 Courthouse Road, Eastville. Instructions for enrolling in the 4-H Online system will also be provided.
For more information, families can contact Erin Morgan at 757-678-7946 or Julie Head of Eastern Shore Soil & Water at julie.head@esswcd.org or 757-302-4433.
Virginia Cooperative Extension, a sponsor of the event, ensures the camp is open to all without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, or marital or family status.

Looks like the last assessment was in 2022 with a peer review scheduled for 2025. Has that happened yet? I'm…
No, I am laughing out loud at you. You folks are as crazy as sh*t- house rats.
The Cape Charles town government and administration is a cesspool of clowns. You all masquerading with aliases and taking shots…
