  1. I would be interested knowing if you are stating that there are currently 243 vacant units in the incorporated town of Cape Charles or in Bay Creek or in a combination of the two. I do not believe this figure is currently close to accurate and would like to know the date of the source material you are quoting. Thank you.

Note: Marlene, we agree, but the source we use is the population study conducted by the town (which really should be updated), which is all the data currently supplied to the public and is available on the town web site. We also would like to see more current data posted. That said, all the data used here came directly from the Town of Cape Charles.

  2. Although I reside outside of Town of Cape Charles limits I consider it ” My town ” and the improvement over the last 20 years ( except maybe for backwards parking ) is nothing short of spectacular .

To me the glass is more than half full . I suspect we are in a state of transition and generally moving in the right direction . That said , I commend you for keeping the government’s feet to the fire .

  3. I especially liked the part about Locals being like wildlife boxed in more and more …. Ugh it’s sad how this place has changed since I was a kid in terms of snootiness.

  4. Why doesn’t someone build a haunted house in Cape Charles ? You could use all the cheating ****heads that serve on various town boards for ghastly inspiration !
