With Accomack projected to increase Chicken House numbers by 100 houses just this year, and Northampton debating zoning changes that would could open the door to poultry expansion it is time for ESVA to sit down and talk chicken.
Citizens from both Northampton and Accomack County will have an opportunity to learn about current poultry operations on the Eastern Shore as well as plans for expansion. We will discuss potential environmental, economic, and public health consequences as well and folks will have an opportunity to ask questions.
