  1. Wasn’t Thomas Jefferson born April 13th? Editor's Note: Yes. We lifted this from a normally reliable source. TJ probably don't…

  1. I am not at all surprised that Bay Creek is unwilling to allow the girls of the local community to use their facilities.
    Not at all.
    Sad

    1. The name ‘Bay Creek’ really make no sense. It would be like saying ‘Ocean Pond’. Almost as silly as ‘artificial’ intelligence. There is a school in mary land named ‘Youth’s Benefit’. Who else’s benefit would it be but the youths that get educated there. Imagination is in short order,

  2. Wayne,
You need to get your facts straight!! We hosted the team last year along with Northampton HA golf team . The is no current coach right so there has been a lag in getting them back this year once again. We will also be hosting the Northampton Golf Team again and we will be hosting the Broadwater Academy Golf Team.
Such non professional reporting does not one any good! Do a little homework before printing garbage !

Editor’s Note: There is a current coach, I can provide his contact. We are talking about TENNIS, not GOLF. This information came from NH themselves. If you are willing to host them, get off you arse and do it. So far, well…they’re still waiting for your return call. We do appreciate your classy and professional response. It’s always helpful to pull the curtain down.

  3. Why will tennis courts not be restored at the high school? Tennis is a pretty inexpensive sport. In fact, there is an Achievable Dream public school in Newport News where every child learns how to play tennis. Arthur Ashe learned how to play tennis on the public courts in Richmond. With the taxes we pay, we can do better than this for our kids.
