1. Scope of services to be delivered.
Primary medical care services for all ages to include internal medicine, family practice and pediatrics. We are projecting 10 full time medical providers. Support services include lab, x-ray nursing, health education, outreach, translation, pharmacy assistance and referrals. New to the center will be digital x-ray (chest and extremities), expanded lab space, potential 10 hour days and Saturday hours.
General dentistry services for all ages will continue with 7 dental chairs (currently have 6 chairs at Franktown). We are projecting 2-3 full time dentists and a dental hygienist. Support services include dental assistants, panorex x-ray, oral hygiene education.
We anticipate continuing our collaboration with Community Services Board to provide access to counseling and child psychiatry services.
2. What are some of structural needs, such as parking spaces required, Electrical/mechanical/plumbing needs, Ambulance or emergency services, bays/repair/mechanical area, waiting Areas, Clinical Space for Clinicians, Clinical Space for equipment or procedure rooms.
This building will resemble our Atlantic CHC in New Church, one story building.
3. Do you have plans for a Helicopter pad, used for emergency transport?
A helicopter pad is not in our plans at this point. Under the federally qualified health center guidelines and state guidelines, we cannot provide an emergency room.
4. Expansion needs for future (what are the estimates of population growth 10 years?)
Statistics we have obtained have not indicated population growth in Northampton within the next 3-5 years. As with both of our other new facilities, we have allowed for expansion with our design and purchased appropriate acreage of land.
Note: We are not at 100% design so there may be additional primary care services.
