Quick look at Water and Wastewater Usage

Wastewater Plant Manager noted that the Wastewater plant treated has been averaging 142,988 gallons a day the last couple of weeks, the heaviest being 217,342 gallons a day on 1/04/2022. The Wastewater Plant treated 3,983,117 gallons in the month of December with an average flow of 123,487 gallons a day.

Wastewater Utility Staff continued to do normal maintenance on the Plant and collection system, washed down the plant, installed new water and wastewater services, and have been placing markings of utility locations for new construction.

The Water Plant produced 2,481,314 gallons with292,500 gallons used for process. The plant averaged 118,157 gallons per day with peaking out at 149,059 on 1/1/22.

The staff performed routine maintenance processes including filter backwashing and softener regenerations, installed flow meters on Keck wells, performed daily water quality testing and analysis, and submitted quarterly reports to DEQ, and monthly reports to VDH.
