ONANCOCK, Va. — Animal lovers from across Virginia’s Eastern Shore are invited to lace up their walking shoes — and leash up their furry companions — for the 2026 Run For The Animals!, set for Saturday, May 2.
The community-focused event will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Historic Onancock School, offering participants a scenic and meaningful way to support local animal welfare organizations.
Organizers say the walk is open to everyone — whether you bring your dog or simply come out to support the cause.

Participants will enjoy an approximately 2-mile route through the historic Town of Onancock, passing:
