Melfa, Virginia – For immediate release. The Eastern Shore Resource Conservation and Development Council has teamed up with Future Harvest CASA to present an on-farm program for small farmers who are interested to learn more about accessing wholesale markets from a remote rural area.

Join the Future Harvest staff and the Eastern Shore RC&D at Turtle Pace Farm in Melfa on the Eastern Shore of Virginia to learn the ins and outs of selling farm products on the wholesale market from experts in the field. The Panel Discussion will include representatives from Chesapeake Harvest Food Hub, Coastal Sunbelt Produce, Buy Fresh Buy Local and others. Farmers will have a chance to ask questions and also share their experiences selling to larger markets.
