WASHINGTON, D.C.— On Monday, October 25, U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm will join U.S. Senator Mark Warner and U.S. Representatives Bobby Scott (VA-03) and Elaine Luria (VA-02) in Portsmouth and Newport News, Virginia.
The trip will showcase the pioneering research from the nation’s labs advancing the breakthroughs of tomorrow and highlight how the historic investments of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the President’s Build Back Better agenda will increase American clean energy manufacturing and strengthen the domestic supply chain — bringing economic development and good-paying, local jobs.
