Every karaoke fan on the Eastern Shore Knows and loved Bill “Madd” Mapp. He was our karaoke guy for Cape Charles at Shanty on Thursday nights.
Bill passed away unexpectedly on June 28. He was only 58 years old and had not really planned for his death.
Bill was a sweet guy and was always available to help those around him. He spent most of his adult life helping his friends and neighbors. Even on the day of his death, he was helping someone else despite not feeling well.
His family is asking others to assist in giving to his funeral arrangements funds. Due to costs, they cannot give him the sendoff he deserves. The family has started a Go Fund Me page here: https://www.gofundme.com/bill-mapp-memorial to help with the costs.
