New Roots Youth Garden Autumn Garden Club! Every Thursday from 5-6.30.
Come to the Garden Club to see real life science, math, engineering, and art all mixed together in our lovely vegetable and fruit garden. Come for one session or all of them! For Children 5-12. Littles under 5 are welcome with a guardian to hang out in the Littles Garden, and teens looking for service learning hours are also welcome to come and volunteer!
Come see how changing seasons on a costal sandbar on the Eastern Shore of Virginia affect the crops we can grow as food farmers…and check out our still flourishing space! We love the eastern shore for its unique growing seasons and how long you can continue to plant, grow and harvest crops!
Snack and water provided, please wear weather appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes!
