Cape Charles Town Council has set Thursday, March 14, 2019, as the date for public hearing on this statutory requirement to vacate the public right of way that was originally created to provide access to the Sustainable Technology Industrial Park (STIP) in 1996.

A letter to the town from Assistant County Attorney Thornton noted that certain procedural matters are required as a condition of vacating a public right of way.
A public hearing is required in the Code of Virginia.
