Friday, November 29 – Saturday, November 30 | 10am to 5pm
The Artisans Guild-Eastern Shore of VA will hold its 17th Annual Holiday Tour on Friday and Saturday, November 29 and 30. This is a free, self-directed and self-driven tour – off Rt. 13 in Accomack and Northampton counties, stretching from Cape Charles in the south to Onancock in the north.
Visit Event Website for more information and to download the brochure.
Visitors on the tour will discover a wide variety of high-quality items, most of which are one-of-a-kind pieces. Jewelry, decoys, wildlife carvings, ceramics, art quilts, pottery, metal sculptures, wearable fiber, Windsor chairs, oil and watercolor paintings and more will be found at the various stops on the tour.
The work created by the Guild artisans is inspired by the unique beauty and history of Virginia’s Eastern Shore, and most incorporate materials found or produced locally. The Guild members are dedicated to promoting and preserving the rich artistic heritage of the area. Light refreshments will be available at some stops.
