Town Council approved a lease agreement with NeuBeam, to allow for wi-fi internet antennas to continue to be placed on the water tower.
NeuBeam purchased Eastern Shore Communications in 2019, and ESC has already has an internet antenna located on the water tower. NeuBeam is
retaining their equipment which includes the antenna on the water tower.
On January 9, 2020, the Mayor signed a letter of intent with Neubeam to continue service without interruption until a lease agreement was approved by council.
The new lease is the same as the other two combined, which NeuBeam agrees to pay a yearly fee at the same rate for the ESC antenna and agrees to swap antenna space for internet services to all town owned facilities
with the exception of town hall, which has fiber and will continue with Charter Communications.
