Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Swine and Wine fundraiser for our Eastern Shore Boys and Girls Club will not happen this year. But your support is needed more than ever.
70 percent of our Eastern Shore Club members come from single-parent homes Eighty percent of our participants qualify for free or reduced-price lunch at school.
Despite these economic factors, 100 percent of our members graduate from high school compared to 90 percent for all students. The Club served over 20,000 meals last year.
What the Boys & Girls Club does daily is not possible without the generous support of donors from the community — and without the funding that the Swine and Wine benefit provided to the Club, it will be difficult to maintain the same services when the Club can reopen.
