  1. Hurt ? How about a double tap in the chest at point blank range ? We can read all the stats in the article here, and I’m sure many of them tell quite a tale and I guess they are accurate. Honestly I’ve hardly read them. I don’t need stats. It’s real simple to understand. We all know restaurants have been closed for months, or only allowed minimal seating, or only allowed take out service. This obviously means the retsaurants are going to order less food in general. It takes about 1/2 second of further thought to realize that food products that have a shorter shelf life, or that don’t transport well in to go containers and have to be reheated, or that people want to eat fresh rather than frozen, are the items that the restaurants are going to order the least of when they do order their food inventory. Anyone in the seafood industry and most of the general public knows that seafood fits into all the categories that I just spoke of. Therefore seafood has taken the biggest hit of all. Any and all politicians or governors or whatever we call them that continue to support restaurant closures do not give a tinker’s damn about the seafood industry at all. Huh Ralph ? You gonna open restaurants now that you lied about covid to get Trump out ? Or you gonna keep this b.s. going ? To go a step farther, many foreign suppliers fit into our seafod market by being the frozen market, which is a whole nother supply chain that is very hard to change. o folks continue to buy frozen foreign for at home and the American guys and gals get left behind.
