Apparently, the number of new coronavirus cases, as well as the number of Americans hospitalized with symptoms has noticeably dropped. Deaths have also begun to decline. And the number of daily vaccination shots has nearly tripled over the last month.
The virus is spreading with more than 2,500 Americans dying daily. Newly contagious variants may create future outbreaks.
